FAQ

SITTING PLANT HEALING CEREMONIES FOR THE FIRST TIME?

It’s normal to feel a bit apprehensive. Let’s embrace this in our positive light, as an attitude of healthy respect for the healing journey. It’s best to avoid reading, watching, listening to other people’s experience where perceptions or expectations are likely to be created.

CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I AM TAKING MEDICATIONS?

If you are taking any kind of pharmaceutical medication such as SSRI’s (antidepressants) antihypertensives (blood pressure medication) anti-convulsants or antihistamines or if you have any mental, emotional or physical conditions that we should be aware of, please advise us well in advance, so we can assist you in making a decision about your ceremony preparation.

WHAT IS THE FOOD LIKE?

Food will be prepared by our wonderful chef and is a ceremony dieta which is vegan. We will be having breakfast & lunch followed by fasting on ceremony days in preparation for ceremony. If you have any questions on this or have any special dietary requirements that we need to be aware of, please let us know in advance.

WHERE WILL I BE STAYING?

You will be staying with Naturalma at the Hide, the guest accommodation for all formats of the Huni Kawa Shamanic School will be in cozy dormitories (There are two dormitories and if possible we try to keep men and women separate. There are limited options for private accommodation, please contact us if you need more privacy).
